Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 2026

1. No File Data Collection

xSend is built on a peer-to-peer (P2P) architecture heavily relying on End-to-End Encryption (E2EE). We, the developers, do not and cannot access, parse, read, or store any file content that you transfer using our software.

2. Signaling Data

To establish a connection between devices, your IP address and connection metadata (SDP) pass through our Cloudflare signaling servers. This data is kept strictly momentarily in memory to facilitate the WebRTC/QUIC handshake. It is never logged to persistent databases or sold to third parties.

3. Application Telemetry

We collect basic, anonymous crash reports and analytical data (such as OS version and connection success rates) strictly to improve application stability. This does not include personally identifiable information (PII).

4. Your Consent

By using xSend, you consent to this privacy policy. As Open Source software, you are welcome to inspect our client source code on GitHub to verify our claims algorithmically.
